Holland Hall has been designed for undergraduate students and is located close to the sports park and a 7 minute walk away from the centre of campus.
This popular residence has fabulous views over the Exe valley, 406 high standard en-suite rooms, a glass-fronted restaurant with seating for 360 students and a sun terrace.
A number of utility rooms are located in the building, providing a space for preparing snacks and lunches. They contain a microwave, kettle, sink, ironing board, iron and waste bins.
Residents must move out during the Christmas and Easter vacations, return their key and may be asked to remove all belongings.
The University of Exeter continually invests in its properties to provide new facilities and upgrade existing ones. We are proposing to build the new West Park student residences on our Streatham campus in the Clydesdale area between Holland Hall, Birks Grange Village and Nash Grove. Room size
Rooms at Holland Hall (including bathroom) are approximately 14.9m2 (3000mm x 4970mm).
These measurements are a guide only. In some residences room sizes vary considerably.
Bed size
All rooms at Holland Hall are ensuite and have double beds (four feet six inches wide). The height of the storage space under the bed is a minimum of 26cm.
Safes
Some of the rooms in Holland Hall have a safe however, there may not be one in every room. If you are allocated a room which does not have a safe when you arrive, it will not be possible for us to provide one in the room.
Bedrooms in Holland Hall have the following:
- Bed (see 'Room and bed sizes' tab above for more details), wardrobe, desk and chair.
- Bookshelves, desk lamp or built-in lighting, pinboard, full length mirror and waste bin.
- Mini fridge
- High speed wired and wireless network/internet is available from Glide Student. You will need to register online to receive access.
- Aerial socket in the bedroom or students can use a laptop or desktop to watch TV. Please note you will still need a TV Licence to watch live TV or BBC iPlayer from any device.
- Wet-room style shower, washbasin, toilet, mirror and waste bin in the en-suite.

16 meals per week are included within the contract period for residents of our catered accommodation. This comprises of breakfast and dinner Monday to Friday, and breakfast, brunch (weekend lunch) and dinner at weekends. See our meal times below for information about when your meal will be served. Please note that your meal can only be eaten in the dining hall which has been allocated to you.

I enjoyed living in Holland Hall last year because of the friendly community of students, close proximity to campus (including the Sports Park), close proximity to the town centre and St David’s Station, and the stunning views of Exeter from my room!
I was also impressed at the quality of the accommodation as well as the catered meals.
