Living in Lafrowda made me feel like being a part of a community as I managed to meet people that were really friendly. The most important part for me as an international student was to be opened up to different encounters, whether this was the people I met or the practices of my flatmates. I definitely made the most out of my university life during my first year of study!

I loved the centrality of Lafrowda. I was close to the centre of campus, Market Place, iSCA EATS, and the town centre was not too far. I liked the layouts of the flats and the kitchen which was spacious so that my flat could all cook together, and the communal sofa area.

Lafrowda was a great choice for my first-year accommodation, offering a safe, convenient location with plenty of local facilities. I found that the residency staff, including cleaning, maintenance and reception were very friendly, considerate and helpful which made the living experience much easier.

The spaces in communal areas such as kitchens were great, with enough room for everyone to both cook and socialise. I also appreciated the outdoor areas in Lafrowda, such as the benches outside and the green spaces alongside the shop, reception and Cornwall house; this added to the community aspect of this accommodation.
