Ben has just been appointed the Dragon Capital Chair in Biodiversity Economics, sitting in the LEEP Institute at the University of Exeter, having previously been a Professor at the London School of Economics. His research focusses primarily along two related strands; one of how to distribute resources across individuals within society (both now and in the future), and the other on the economics of biodiversity. As such, he founded and continues to run the BioEcon network. His research has appeared in many top journals including: The American Economic Review, American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, The Economic Journal and Science
