Event details
In this talk I’ll present an overview of my work evaluating compassion focused approaches to help with mental health.
Specifically, I’ll introduce one key model, compassion focused therapy (CFT). I will then present a range of research that has examined CFT using self-report and physiological measures (using heart rate variability), including those with body weight shame and veterans with PTSD, as well as evaluations of a brief 2-hour CMT seminar with self-critical parents and a digital online intervention for those with workplace injuries wanting to return to work.
