This presentation will overview a series of pragmatic trials of interventions delivered by physiotherapists that seek to promote physical activity, enhance mobility and prevent falls among older adults in Australia. Quantitative and qualitative results will be presented. There will be an opportunity for Q&A after the seminar concludes.
Prof Sherrington FAHMS, FACP, PhD, MPH, BAppSc (Physio) is Professor, School of Public Health, University of Sydney. Prof Sherrington leads the 28-person Physical Activity, Ageing and Disability Research Stream within the Institute for Musculoskeletal Health (a partnership between University of Sydney and Sydney Local Health District) and is Deputy Director of the Institute.
Professor Sherrington is visiting from Australia and this is a fantastic opportunity to hear her in person. Places are limited so please register as soon as possible to guarantee your place.
