GSI Seminar: Architectures of Climate Justice at GSI - Ashish Ghadiali

Over the past 18 months, filmmaker and activist Ashish Ghadiali has been engaged with GSI as a strategic consultant on climate justice. Providing an insight into work undertaken in this role including participation in new research on the human climate niche, support for Barbados's Bridgetown Initiative for Climate Finance, delivery of the public gathering Equilibrium at Serpentine and development of a new MA in Climate Justice & Creative Practice with UoE Geography, this seminar will provide space for discussion around key strategic priorities that have emerged, highlighting opportunities for ongoing collaboration across earth systems science, critical race studies and contemporary art, literature & performance, and focusing on the potential impact that this area of interdisciplinary exchange might have on future streams of research and public engagement, both at Exeter and beyond.
