Abstract
In this talk I will discuss some recent progress in bounding the Fourier transform of a fractal measure. Such a bound is important for problems relating to finding patterns in fractal sets and proving there exist normal numbers in fractal sets. This talk will be based upon joint works with Amlan Banaji and Tuomas Sahlsten.
