Event details
This interactive conversation will explore how bottom-up versions of citizens' assemblies can help align academia's purpose with the desires of its staff, students, and local communities. Expect discussion of what people's assemblies are, experiences of people who have run them, and an introduction to a new network of people's assemblies across UK universities that together can help accelerate not only local transformations, but systemic ones too. The conversation will be led by Jordan Raine, a former academic who now runs Faculty for a Future with the support of GSI's own James Dyke.
