In this seminar Gloria Crabolu will showcase how she used systems thinking through causal loop diagrams to evaluate the impact of various sustainability indicator schemes across Europe, used by various tourism destinations to improve their sustainability performance.

Gloria Crabolu is social scientist and Lecturer in Sustainable Tourism at the University of Exeter. Her research focuses on using complexity and systems thinking approaches to advance sustainability change. She is about to start a British Academy Fellowship to work with the Cabinet Office on systems approaches for net-zero evaluation.
