2024 Exe-X Bill Douglas Museum Visit

We are delighted to announce another of our popular private evening viewings, this time at the Bill Douglas Cinema Museum on Streatham Campus.

Event details

As usual this will be a delightful opportunity to meet fellow alumnae (female graduates) and, after the event, we will go for a drink locally to continue the chat!

Home to one of the largest collections of material relating to the moving image in Britain, the BDCM galleries are an irresistible mingling of artefacts, documentation, images and much more.

By special arrangement with the museum, we will be enjoying an early evening guided tour of its collection highlights, with a special focus on the achievements of women in film. We will also be finding out more about 50s actress Belinda Lee, ‘the most notorious, yet paradoxically anonymous, British actress of the 1950s’ for whom a blue plaque was recently unveiled in her home town of Budleigh Salterton.
