Event details
We have been working with a new community association, the Friends of Hoopern Valley, supporting the University's management of Lower Hoopern Valley as a public green space and biodiversity hub. The group is hoping to engage colleagues, students and local residents by hosting fun and engaging activities while promoting environmental awareness and stewardship.
They are hosting their first Annual General Meeting on 20 November 2024 at Exeter Phoenix. There will be a social from 7:30pm – 8pm in the Phoenix lounge, followed by a meeting between 8pm – 9pm meeting in the Workshop Space.
This is an opportunity to meet the trustees, learn about their charitable aims, and hear from the University's Grounds and Sustainability teams about their efforts in Lower Hoopern Valley.
