Our guest speaker is Professor Fabrice Jollant from Paris-Saclay University.

Event details

Abstract

Fabrice has been studying suicidal behavior for the last 25 years. In this talk, he will focus on the study of decision-making in people with a history of suicide attempt and in biological relatives of people who died from suicide. This research contributed to changing the conceptualization of the suicidal transition in terms of risk processing. Therapeutic perspectives will be mentioned, including the use of ketamine for the treatment of suicidal ideas through the reduction of mental pain.
