We will be led by the University Grounds Team’s Head Arborist, Alex Adams, who will share with us his extensive knowledge of – and love for – the myriad of trees on our beautiful Streatham campus.
You will hear about the many Champion Trees that grace the grounds. (Champion Trees are awarded the ‘honour’ due to their enormous size, great age, rarity or historical significance.) Did you know that the campus is home to walnut trees, bitter lemon trees, a California Nutmeg tree, tulip trees, and two Plant Heritage National Collections? Do come along and share Alex’s infectious enthusiasm for our stunning campus!
