Making Sense of Evidence: Using Research to Inform Clinical Decision Making, 6th November 2014

A one-day introductory workshop on the practical use of evidence in practice, this course is aimed at health care professionals based within Devon and Cornwall who wish to gain knowledge of finding and appraising evidence in everyday practice where time is short.

This workshop has has been approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 5 category 1 (external) CPD credits (reference code: 89542).

Understanding Diagnostic Studies, 7th November 2014

A one-day introductory workshop on understanding diagnostics in practice, this course is aimed at health care professionals with some previous experience of evidence based practice who wish to explore the topic. 

An application for category 1 (external) CPD credits is pending with the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians.

These workshops are subsidised by the NIHR (National Institute for Health Research) Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) South West Peninsula (PenCLAHRC).

Fees (please note that Understanding Diagnostic Studies is not recommended as a stand-alone workshop for delegates with limited prior experience of evidence based practice):

Registration for single day - either workshop: £50
Registration for both workshops: £100
