Abstract
Seminar given by Dr Stefano Pagliara, Lecturer of Biosciences, University of Exeter
Microfluidics is a powerful tool for next generation life science research. This talk will cover novel analytical methods to perform biophysical and biochemical assays at the single-cell level.
Stefano’s background is in Biophysics and Nanoscience. His current research is focused on advancing our understanding of the physics of living systems by developing bio-inspired bespoke microfluidic devices. He has written over 30 academic articles including a report on the first evidence of nuclear auxeticity in embryonic stem cells (Nature Materials 13, 638 (2014).
