Alan Lee Williams and Sir John Hannam will share their views of politics past and present – both from inside the Westminster bubble and beyond it. They will also talk about the work of the Former MPs Outreach Association. The event will close with questions from the audience, and a wine reception.

The Speakers
Alan Lee Williams was a Labour MP for Hornchurch throughout the 1970s. More recently, he has been Director of international relations institute – the Atlantic Council – and has written widely on European defence issues. Alan’s work with the English Speaking Union has made him an authority on public speaking.
Sir John Hannam served as Conservative MP for Exeter from 1970-1997. Throughout his life Sir John has campaigned on disability rights issues and cultural issues.
