Event details
The Centre for Rural Policy Research (CRPR) organises a monthly discussion session where early stage, ongoing and/or recently finished work can be presented to colleagues in a friendly setting. The sessions are designed to be informative and give a chance for colleagues to discuss each others' work. For questions, tips, or to be added to the mailing list, please contact Roos den Uyl.
NEAT stands for “Networking to enhance the use of economics in animal health education, research and policy making in Europe and beyond” and is a 3-year project co-funded by the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Union. Led by the Royal Veterinary College, London University, this international project was created to increase capacity for economic analysis in the field of animal health at a time when arguably this has never been more urgently needed. The purpose of the seminar is to explain and discuss the background to NEAT, set in the context of why the project is such an important initiative, particularly in the light of developments in the economics of animal health, obstacles to and opportunities for progress, and aspirations for the future given a rapidly changing problem context.
