Redmayne-Bentley is proudly sponsoring a celebratory evening showcasing the very promising results of research conducted at Exeter University’s Children’s Health and Exercise Research Centre (CHERC) funded by Heart Research UK (registered charity no: registered charity number: 1044821) as part of their ‘Helping Little Hearts’ campaign.
This event is a rare and unique opportunity to hear about how the research has provided a solution to help keep children with heart problems healthier and fitter.
During the evening you will be able to explore the various displays explaining the research. There will also be a special opportunity to listen to Dr Graham Stuart, Consultant Cardiologist, from Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, who will explain why the research is so valuable and the developing exercise treatments for children. Professor Craig Williams, Director of CHERC, will then show how information is collected using one of the innovative tests and describe how it is used in their research.
The evening will begin at 6.30pm at Reed Hall with a drinks reception.
