Event details
Join us to explore the values of the use of imaging technologies, including virtual 3D models and dynamic ultrasound, and discuss the benefits and limitations of these imaging technologies in enhancing anatomy teaching and learning in modern medical education. This event is organised by Dr Tudor Chinnah, Senior Lecturer in Human Anatomy and Clinical Education at the University of Exeter.
The afternoon will include interactive small group workshop sessions and ample opportunities to network with other colleagues.
Keynote speakers
Dr Flora Gröning, Lecturer in Anatomy, University of Aberdeen Medical School will talk about her project - a new anatomical 3D virtual learning environment using 3D modelling and tools from computer gaming.
Dr Anish Patel, Consultant Radiologist, Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust will demonstrate the role of dynamic ultrasound in living anatomy teaching and learning.
