Translating Political Langauges: A Sino-European Workshop

The workshop is organised by the Centre of Political Thought in collaboration with Chinese scholars from various universities in Beijing. It explores both the way in which European traditions and ideas have been assimilated, adapted and transformed in Chinese political thought; and the different ways in which key political themes and ideas are conceptualised in Chinese and European languages and political experience.

The workshop runs from 14:00 - 18:00 on Thursday 9th June, and from 09:00 - 17:30 on Friday 10th June, in Knightley.
