Space is the ultimate 'high ground' and provides a strategic advantage to those that have the resources and technology to utilise it. As space becomes more congested and contested the reality of an armed conflict occurring in space gets closer. This seminar will introduce the legal framework applicable to military activities in outer space before addressing in more detail some of the unique practical and legal challenges operating in this environment brings.
