Research themes

Our research spans nine interdisciplinary research themes, focusing on a range of pertinent technological and social challenges, and involving around 130 researchers from all colleges and campuses from across the University.

Integrating research on technological, social and operational aspects of supply, distribution and end-use of energy, with that around the optimisation and governance of energy systems, the themes collectively advance understanding in, and facilitate change across, whole energy systems.
