Commercial costs
The University of Exeter Sequencing Facility provides project consultation on experimental design and sequencing. We are also able to undertake bioinformatic analysis when previously planned. If you are considering Illumina or Nanopore sequencing for your research, please contact Dr. Aaron Jeffries for research collaboration or consultation on experimental design, pricing, and scheduling.
For those who know what they need please request a quotation for commercial sequencing by email (quotations-sequencing@exeter.ac.uk) giving a brief outline of the aim of project, experimental design, type of library preparation and amount of data required. For those preparing and pooling their own libraries we can provide sequencing only costs.
Basic costs include delivery of FASTQ files via secure download from the University of Exeter together with basic quality-control information. Typical turn-around times are 4-6 weeks from date of sample submission. Bioinformatic analysis will require aditional time and incur extra fees.
Prices indicated below do not include vat and provide a guide to our costs. A precise quotation can be provided on request.
