Penryn campus-based University of Exeter students can seek assistance from both the Info Point, based in Peter Lanyon Building, and The Compass Helpdesk, located in the Library. No matter where you go, you will find patient and friendly staff who can either answer your query immediately or put you in contact with someone who can resolve your issue quickly.

Facilities and Services
Falmouth Exeter Plus manages and/or delivers all shared services at the Penryn Campus on behalf of Falmouth and UoE, and some services at the Falmouth and Truro Campuses.
All new International fee paying and exchange/Study Abroad students at the University of Exeter Cornwall campuses will be automatically allocated a Global Chum to help you settle in.
What does a Global Chums Cornwall mentor do?
Your Global Chum mentor is there to help answer any questions you may have before you arrive, and to help you settle into life on campus as quickly as possible. We arrange social activities from the point you arrive on campus, up to the Christmas holidays. For students arriving in January, we also offer the scheme to help you settle into university life quickly, and make the most of your time here in Cornwall.
How do I request a Global Chum mentor?
You will be contacted automatically in late August by your mentor. There is no need to sign up. If you haven’t heard from your mentor by the start of September, please email globalchums-cornwall@exeter.ac.uk.
