We've done it!

Thanks to the generous commitment of our alumni and supporters, we have reached the volunteering target for our Making the Exceptional Happen Campaign – and have done so an amazing two and half years ahead of schedule.

The University of Exeter has benefited from an incredible 60,000 alumni volunteering hours over the last six and half years. Gifts of time come in many shapes and sizes, but they all make a massive difference at Exeter:

• Nearly 28,000 hours have supported student employability. 
• More than 21,000 students have benefited from 700 on-campus careers talks and you have provided over 1,500 one-on-one mentoring partnerships lasting at least 6 months. With your support, our students are now amongst the Top 10 most employable in the UK.
• 15,000 hours have been dedicated to board-level strategic advice, assisting in the on-going growth and governance of the University.
• We’ve had volunteers from 80 countries around the world.
