Donations enable Bonnie and Clyde to rise at Exeter Phoenix

Thanks to the Alumni Annual Fund, Shotgun Theatre were able to perform ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ to a sell-out crowd at the Exeter Phoenix. A total of 58 students were involved in the project, telling the story of how real-life fugitives, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow found notoriety and love through this thrilling, fast-paced musical. Combining Gospel, Rockabilly and Blues music to produce an innovative score that complemented the action-filled plot, the show was very well-received by audience members, with additional seating being released for some performances due to popularity.
