Veganuary

The Veganuary campaign involves eating a vegan* diet for the month of January. At the University of Exeter we are encouraging people to try eating a vegan or vegetarian diet in January - did you know eating plant-based could add 10 years to your life, and produces 75% less greenhouse gas emissions?

Whether you plan to try vegan or veggie, sign up to Veganuary using this link and receive emails with free resources and support throughout January including*:

  • Exclusive recipes
  • tailored meal plans based on your goals
  • nutritional advice
  • a celebrity e-cookbook
  • exclusive special offers on vegan products
  • social media support

Sign-up with Exeter’s unique link

*Veganuary is a vegan based charity with a positive, inclusive ethos. If you are attempting a vegetarian diet please sign up as the resources should still be helpful.

Take part in our online study

Have you decided to try vegan or vegetarian for the month of January?

Please take part in our study!

The study involves:

  • Completing 3 20-minute online surveys (one before January, one in February, and one in May).
  • Questions about your diet and lifestyle, goals, and experiences of going vegan/vegetarian in January!
  • You will receive a £10 Amazon Gift Voucher (or £5 Amazon gift voucher if you don’t complete all 3 surveys).

You can take part if:

  • You intend to stop eating meat for the whole of January (it would be great if you sign up to Veganuary but you don’t need to).
  • You do eat meat at this point (no vegetarians/vegans, sorry!)

Sign up for the study using your University of Exeter email address (ending @exeter.ac.uk, @falmouth.ac.uk, @fxplus.ac.uk). Please only click on this link when ready to take the study as once opened you will not be able to access the survey again.
