Byrne House
Grade II
Aim to preserve the character of the Byrne House setting and allow it to form a positive counterpoint to Lafrowda as part of the arrival into the campus.
Refurbished in 2006 for use by Egenis Centre. Cost of works £770K.
Duryard House
Grade II
Issues in 2009 with theft/deterioration of the house, which occurred whilst the site and house have remained vacant. Minor upgrading carried out Summer 2009, in order to provide teaching space for INTO for this academic year and carry out remedial repairs. INTO now in occupation for teaching use since 2010.
Hatherly
Locally listed.
There is a need to invest in the future use of existing buildings. Any new development in this area should ensure that it does not disrupt the overall balance of buildings set in a wider open landscape.
Last major refurbishment of laboratories in 1995 - 1997. Further refurbishment works anticipated 2010-2012?.
Lopes Hall
Grade II
Look to preserve the character of the Lopes Hall setting and allow it to form a positive counterpoint to Lafrowda as part of the arrival into the campus.
In recent years there have has been a programme of upgrading including upgrading fire precautions in 2008, upgrading of dining room in 2009 and new kitchen in 2004.
Mary Harris Chapel

Internal cosmetic improvements carried out in 2007 and 2008.
Old Library
Locally listed.
There is a need to invest in the future use of existing buildings. Any new development in this area should ensure that it does not disrupt the overall balance of buildings set in a wider open landscape.
Upgrading works carried out in 2009 to provide better library facilities, c. £2m. Further very minor refurbishment/conversion works carried out in non library area of the building in 2005 and 2007. Most years some minor works/long term maintenance items carried out.
Reed Hall
Grade II
Look to enhance the hall and gardens for continued University use.
Part Refurbishment completed April 2008 (c.£800K) and creation of new car park end 2008 (c.£300k).
Roborough

Streatham Farm
Locally listed.

Refurbishment works carried out Summer 2009 to include roof replacement and internal cosmetic improvements.
Streatham Lodge
Recently purchased for use by visiting academics, etc. Generally in good order.
Thornlea
Locally listed.
No substantive work carried out to Thornlea White House in last five to 10 years.
Thornlea House was the residence of Alderman W.H.Reed, former Mayor of Exeter. In 1922, Alderman Reed bought Streatham Hall (now Reed Hall) for the University College of the West of England, starting the development of the Streatham Campus as we know it today.
Washington Singer

Refurbishment/conversion works carried out between 2004 to 2009 c. £1.9m. A dedicated research centre (Mood Disorders Centre) has been constructed to the north edge of Washington Singer Building (planning approval obtained).
