Role

Brigid is the Assistant Director of the Sector and Corporate Partnerships Team that supports impact development, research collaboration with external partners, and business engagement and innovation strategy and delivery across the Faculties.

Profile

Brigid is a senior strategic leader specialising in the knowledge economy. She has worked in knowledge exchange delivery and income generation for Russell Group universities for 30 years as well as holding an external examiner role and visiting lecturer posts at the Royal College of Art and University of the Arts London.

Career:

Brigid's first career was in fiction publishing and then the cultural sector, before becoming founder and Director of a creative economy consultancy company in London for 10 years with clients from the public and private sector in the UK and Europe. Before moving to Devon to work at Exeter, she held a knowledge exchange leadership role at Queen Mary University of London.
