As Senior Manager (Operations), Degree Apprenticeships at University of Exeter, Jim is responsible for leading and managing Operations for the Degree Apprenticeship team; reporting to the Heads of Degree Apprenticeships and Education Support, and working in close partnership with the Senior Manager (Partnerships), Degree Apprenticeships.

Jim joined the Degree Apprenticeships team in April 2022, and has worked at the University of Exeter since 2018.

Jim's role involves managing a large Degree Apprenticeship Hub team of Education and Student Support staff, leading the delivery of excellent standards of customer service for academic and commercial partners.

This includes identifying project resource needs for Degree Apprenticeship programmes; implementing solutions and continuous optimisation; managing the overarching University approach to compliance with external funding and governance; and working effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
