About me:
Jo is a member of the Exeter Innovation team, working on contract research and consultancy. This involves supporting academics and colleges with the development and management of research and consultancy projects with business and government to ensure the effective collaboration of organisations and academics.
Jo is interested in all things Czech and has spent time living in Prague. She enjoys reading, rambling, swimming, travelling and watching football (Preston North End and ECFC).
Qualifications:
BA Humanities (Nottingham Trent University)
MA Publishing (Oxford Brookes University)
BA Modern Foreign Langauges (The Open University)
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Exeter University)
Career:
Jo spent 12 years at the Open University, where she edited and then later project managed the creation of courses for students in a wide range of subjects. She has also spent time as an English teacher, a logistics planner and as editor of a very obscure magazine about ink cartridge recycling.
