About me:

Jasmine is the Student Startup Manager within the Student Startup at the University of Exeter. Jasmine works on the development and delivery of extra curricular programmes including workshops, university events and external events, seeking opportunities for growth and development in the entrepreneurial opportunities available to students at the University of Exeter.

 

Actively seeking opportunities for cross-team collaboration, Jasmine works closely with entrepreneurial minded societies to deliver engaging and beneficial workshops to students exploring entrepreneurship, alongside working with students on a 1-2-1 to validate ideas and foster and entrepreneurial mindset to bring their ideas to life.

 

Jasmine also holds the role of Enactus University Advisor for the University of Exeter, providing mentoring and guidance for Enactus members during their journey and Enactus challenges and competitions.

Career:

Jasmine has previously worked in a variety of roles in Education and Tech. Prior to joining the University of Exeter, Jasmine started her own journey in entrepreneurship following the route of Website design and digital marketing, which she continues to oversee. Working work entrepreneurs in a variety of domains, Jasmine has supported start-ups and SME’s from ideation through to launch, in both the charity and private sectors. Passionate about inclusive entrepreneurship, Jasmine makes a concerted effort to ensure all individuals see and experience the benefits of entrepreneurial pathways available to them.

 

Jasmine’s previous roles also include coordinating students pathways into apprenticeships and employability skills, and as a Senior Youth Worker in Cornwall, creating and delivering workshops in entrepreneurship, problem solving and employability.

 

Having worked with students and professionals of all ages throughout the years, Jasmine is excited to be back working with University level students, to share her skills in entrepreneurial mindset, startup support and business knowledge, with students at the University of Exeter.
