About me:

Katie is responsible for the strategic management of the ExeMPLaR research project, (University of Exeter Multidisciplinary Plastics Research Hub) and for ensuring that its various targets and financial obligations are met. She manages and co-ordinates the hub and network for change and events to increase research capacity and is the key contact for external partners and researchers.

Katie previously worked within Research Services at the University of Exeter supporting academics applying for EU research grants at both pre-award and post-award stage, and providing financial management of grants and claims. Katie has an MA in Urban Design and a BSc in Geography, with a professional background in Urban Design and Town Planning having worked for local authorities and as an consultant advising and enabling communities to create neighbourhood plans and development policies.
