Overview
Kourosh is a value-driven professional with over two decades of international experience working in both public and private sectors, across a range of industries and sectors. Throughout his career, he has held several senior technical and leadership positions. His main areas of expertise and interest lie at the intersection of strategy and innovation, especially within the context of the National Innovation Ecosystem, focusing on capacity building and capability development.
Kourosh is passionate about unlocking and leveraging the power of partnerships to drive innovation and impact, particularly through the triple helix of industry-university-government interactions. Apart from his professional experience, Kourosh is a frequent visiting lecturer and industry speaker who shares his knowledge and insights on topics like translational research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Responsibilities:
Aligned to the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, Kourosh works closely with the senior management team and academics within and across the Faculty to drive collaboration programmes in the BioPharma & MedTech sector. As a Business and Partnership Development Manager, he is responsible for building positive and effective working relationships within the health and life sciences ecosystem, creating opportunities, generating value, and driving impact.
Qualifications:

- MSc in Industrial Management
- BSc in Chemical Engineering
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) – UK Engineering Council
- Innovate UK-Independent assessor
- A member of the UKRI Talent Peer Review College (PRC)
