About me:

I am Policy Engagement Manager in the Exeter Innovation directorate and the Professional Services lead for Policy@Exeter, which aims to support academics to effectively engage with policy, as well as promoting Exeter's world-class research externally to policy makers locally and nationally.

I joined the University in March 2020 as an Impact and Partnership Development Officer. As IPDO I supported the development of 23 REF Impact Case Studies across 8 Units of Assessment, contributed to the creation of the Centre for Future Clean Mobility, and of Policy@Exeter.

Background

Following a BA in Modern Languages and an MA in Translation Studies, I worked as a client-facing project manager in the Language Services department of a global Clinical Research Organisation. I can speak/sign in five languages (at various degrees of rustiness) and enjoy reading contemporary fiction, knitting, training my cat, and taking long walks along the South West coast.
