Impact and Partnership Development Officer - Creative Industries

Overview
Alice has worked across the university in various teams, including in Education Student Support, Faculty Operations, and most recently within the development of the new Centre for Resilience in Environment, Water and Waste (CREWW) in partnership with South West Water.
She is now based in Exeter Innovation as the new Impact and Partnership Development Officer for Creative Industries, working on research and business development activities that largely emerge from the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS).
Her portfolio includes the Exeter Culture and Creative Arc programmes, in partnership with Exeter City Council and various organisations across the South West, and provides additional support for the Creative Economy team in Exeter Innovation.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts, 1st Class (with Honours) - English
Master of Arts, Disctinction (with Honours) - English Literary Theory with a pathway for Postcolonial Literature
Her UG dissertation entitled "'Is Folkore (Un)Dead?': Storytelling in the Digital Age," was nominated for the Gamini Salgado Prize (2019), which celebrates work that "communicates the qualities of imagination and intellectual flair".
Her MA dissertation, "Drowned Cities': Writing to the Anthropocene", showcases her interest in ecocriticism and interdisciplinary approaches to storytelling in order to influence change.

I work hybridly Monday through Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, Tuesdays and Fridays I am based out of the Innovation Hub in the city centre.
