Overview
Zoe joined the IIB in July 2018. The key remit of her post is to lead and support the commercially funded clinical trials in the University as well as collaborating with NHS Trusts.
Before joining Exeter, Zoe had been working at Kings College London, initially as a Clinical Trials coordinator responsible for both research and the management of 2 major FDA funded trials, and then she focused on Clinical Trials Agreements negotiations and support of commercially funded studies on behalf of Kings Health Partners (3 Trusts and KCL).
Zoe has a D.Phil in Biochemistry and undertook a 3 year Fellowship in Research for Radiation damage in Oxford, before becoming a manager for Leukaemia research in Southampton responsible for research, relations and general management of the organisation.
Zoe brings extensive experience in contract and budget negotiation, research development and relationship management.
