Can I purchase equipment for homeworking (headsets, webcams etc)?

If you have the equipment you need for homeworking in your office, arrange to collect it or have it delivered to your home after discussing first your line manager.

If you don’t have the equipment you need for homeworking, you may be able to purchase it yourself and do an expense claim, please note, the equipment will remain the property of the University. Before purchasing discuss with your line manager.

For Teams:

Headsets.

We recommend devices that meet the following specifications:

• USB or Bluetooth connection for superior quality
• Noise cancelling for busy / noisy environments like shared offices
• Integrated rigid microphone

Suggested maximum budget of £40.

If necessary, standard 3.5mm headphones with integrated mic (like sold with many mobile phones may also be suitable).

Webcam.

Discuss with your line manager these and other equipment requests prior to purchasing and retain your receipt.
