Online collaboration tools

The number of on-line tools and facilities providing users with the means to communicate and collaborate together has increased dramatically as this can be seen through rapid growth of Facebook and other social networking sites. Education Enhancement staff are keen to work with academics to explore how such facilities can be used to enhance the learning and teaching process.

Some of these new tools, such as wikis, blogs and discussion fora are available in the Exeter Learning Environment (ELE). In addition to tools within ELE, staff and students can apply to use the University-supported Wiki and Blog through their MyExeter portal.
