Internal Resources
The following internal university resources may be useful points of reference when developing a new programme.
The TQA Manual is a resource for staff and students containing the processes which underpin the quality of learning and teaching at the University of Exeter. Useful sections to consider when developing a programme or module include:
-
Our Strategies. This web page includes Strategy 2030 and other university strategies which underpin and support Strategy 2030.
-
Curriculum for Change (C4C). An internal SharePoint Communication Site for university staff. The Curriculum for Change programme is working to realise our strategic commitment to develop a distinctive and sustainable model for education by 2030.
-
Success for All. A major strand of our Education Strategy which aims to widen participation, close gaps in student outcomes and build a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
-
Widening Participation. Here you can find the Access and Participation Plans that detail how the University works to enable social mobility through education.
Each programme and module must be governed by a completed Programme Specification or Module Descriptor that is readily available to students and other stakeholders. Provision of information in this form is expected by the Quality Assurance Agency. These documents also serve a host of functions, which are important both within and beyond the University.
The Study Information pages provide access to current and historic Programme Specifications and Module Descriptors.
The Digital Learning Service provide a host of useful information for university staff on their Digital Learning Support SharePoint Site to support academic colleagues in the innovative use of digital technologies and resources, for teaching, learning and assessment.
It is also possible via this site to book appointments with a member of the team, either for individuals or for groups, to discuss certain topics.
