Study Zone
Launched in 2018/19, Study Zone is an informal study space in The Forum for undergraduates and taught postgraduates, where they can:
- seek guidance at study skills drop-ins and digital skills surgeries
- meet with their Peer Support and Change Agents groups
- work independently or in small groups
The Study Zone team supports student learning at the University of Exeter, providing learning resources, drop-ins, and workshops on a range of study skills topics.
Students can browse study skills resources on Study Zone Digital. To speak to a member of our team, students can attend our weekly study skills drop-ins where our Academic Skills Advisers can help them develop their skills as critical thinkers and writers, learn new tips for success, and improve their grades and exam performance. Drop-ins take place on campus in Study Zone and online.
Academic colleagues can request in-discipline study skills support.
Current students and staff can view the latest updates and support available to students on Study Zone Digital.

What staff say
This University prides itself on supporting student learning. The new Study Zone now aids students to receive tailored support towards achieving their learning and assessment goals. I know its creation will be very much appreciated by students, and tutors will welcome being able to encourage aspiring students to make use of it.
