Information about Leah: Leah Dennison is Communications Manager at Charleston in Sussex. Charleston is the modernist home and studio of painters Vannessa Bell and Duncan Grant, that was a gathering point for some of the 20th century’s most radical artists, writers and thinkers known collectively as the Bloomsbury group. It is where they came together to imagine society differently, and has always been a place where art and experimental thinking are at the center of everyday life. Today, Charleston presents a dynamic year-round programme of exhibitions, festivals and events. This includes Dior men’s summer collection for 2023, inspired by Charleston, as well as Charleston Festival, which features talks from authors such as Juno Dawson and Jacqueline Wilston. Leah works with the ambitious marketing, communications and digital teams to deliver high quality, audience-centered digital content and experiences for Charleston’s existing and new audiences, online and in-person. Prior to this, Leah was Head of Community at Stronger Stories for five years, working with clients that included Friends of the Earth, Extinction Rebellion and the United Nations. She graduated from her undergraduate degree in Scriptwriting from Bournemouth University in 2014, and went on to complete a Master’s in Digital Media at the University of Sussex.
