Hosted by the Justice and Violence Studies @ Exeter Network, in collaboration with the Centre for Advanced International Studies, this workshop will be an exciting day of discussion with colleagues, including:

The programme includes:

  • Panel session: Recognising and acknowledging international state violence.
  • Panel session: Limits of accountability for policing.
  • Roundtable: Military social harm: a new agenda for research.
  • Launch of the Critical Military Studies special issue 'Making sense of state violence: understanding public inquiries as political devices'.
  • Wine reception.
