Event details

Early Career Researchers (ECRs)

We have a mixture of programmes from Career talk by our previous ECRs working in industry to give an overview of opportunities in industry – with Dr Elahe Naserianhanzaei (Senior data scientist, Trilateral Research) and Dr Avelie Stuart (Senior behavioural scientist, UK Health Security Agency).

Presentations on strategies for engaging the public in research and implementing community-led research approaches – with Prof Jonathan Parker (Cedar Create Director, University of Exeter) and Flora Hemming, (Graduate Research Assistant, University of Exeter).

Presentations on Imposter syndrome, managing multidisciplinary research by our very experienced members of staff – with Prof Anna Adlam and Prof Miriam Koschate-Reis.

The day ends with a focus group session to discuss what ECRs’ needs are and how the network can help. A great opportunity to voice their needs, ensuring they are heard and addressed effectively. As well as an opportunity to network with colleagues with a similar research interest/work.

This is a FREE in-person with lunch and refreshments
