International Workshop on Integrated Renewables for Autonomous Power Supply
A one day event aimed at exploring the challenges and opportunities of integrated renewables.
Worldwide renewable energy implementation has seen a multi-fold increase in this decade. The UK renewable energy installation has reached over 15GW, providing 12 per cent of electricity generated in the United Kingdom. This technical workshop aims to demonstrate challenges and opportunities in the field of integrated renewables such as solar energy (Photovoltaics and Solar Thermal), bio-energy conversion and energy storage systems to avoid their intermittency.
