Event details
The speaker is Dr Mark McCarthy from the Met Office and his talk is entitled "Strawberries at Christmas". The talk will travel from some unseasonal fruit in his back garden through over 100 years of weather records to see what our small corner of the world can tell us about climate change. Mark is science manager of the National Climate Information Centre (NCIC), providing monitoring and analysis of UK climate variability and change.
This event is organised by the RGS-IBG. It is free to members of the RGS-IBG and to students. Non-members will be charged £5.00.
