Abstract
This is your opportunity to come and hear from university academics, students and FX Plus about what we’ve done and what we’re planning - from an award-winning student society that sells locally grown veg to high level research and big plans for campus energy, waste and procurement.
More importantly it’s a chance for you to get involved and to tell us what you think we should be doing to support sustainability. Do you have ideas about reducing use of plastic, composting, sourcing local produce, reusing and swapping household goods, sustainable transport and more? We’d like to hear.
These are exciting times and to tap into the resources of our students and academics we have set up a Strategic Sustainability Group and a Sustainability Working Group to coordinate and drive new ideas through to reality.
You can hear about this and more when you come along to this information event.
