This lecture will include an introduction to the Centre followed by presentations from Centre members on current research activity.
Dr Katherin Barg will talk about her work on social stratification in parenting values and parental involvement in UK and France.
Dr Pallavi Banerjee will introduce her current project 'Transforming Transitions'.
Ruth Flanagan will talk be speaking about her research on religious and legal education
Dr Anna Mountford-Zimdars will introduce a recently completed project on contextual admissions and a current project on evaluating outreach
Dr George Koutsouris and Dr Anna Mountford-Zimdars will talk about their current project on the hidden curriculum at Exeter
Nick Givens will report on his ongoing project 'Safeguarding BAME students'
There will be plenty of opportunity to discuss the current projects and research ambitions and to think about ways to get involved in the Centre. After the half hour formal discussion in the lecture, there will be an opportunity to continue the conversation over tea and coffee.
The recording will be available from 1 December for staff, students and Exeter associates.
