Event details
Chloe Uden and Naomi Wright (artists from Art and Energy CIC) have been collaborating with post-doc researcher Katie Shanks to challenge the aesthetics of silicon solar PV in order to reimagine solar panels as places for artworks of the future.
Using the solar labs at the ESI, they've been able to build and test some of the first solar panel artworks of their kind, and in this talk, we will share some of the process and learning from our creative exchange, as well as our plans for future collaboration.
Please come along to the brief talk, have a look at the artworks and see a demonstration of the construction techniques along with light refreshments.
