The University of Exeter and Soochow University in Suzhou, China, are delighted to offer both an undergraduate and a postgraduate study pathway for Soochow students seeking to join an Exeter degree programme in the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS).

Postgraduate pathway

Launched in 2024, our 1+1 Pathway welcomes Soochow students who have completed both an undergraduate degree programme and a PGT Bridging Course (with dedicated pathways in Law, Politics and Public Administration or Communication) at Soochow into Exeter

Students join Masters programmes in Law, or our MA Intercultural Communication and International Business and MA Media and Communications programmes, as directed by their Soochow PGT bridging course pathway.

Students should apply through our PGT application portal, and contact the HASS Faculty at HASS@exeter.ac.uk for further information on how to apply and all terms and conditions.

Undergraduate pathway

We are also excited to deliver a 2+2 Pathway, welcoming eligible students onto Exeter BA Communications and BSc Politics and Management (Cornwall) programmes with second year entry, provided all conditions and prerequisites have been met through agreed courses at Soochow.

Students should apply via UCAS and should contact HASS@exeter.ac.uk with any queries on eligibility, timelines and student support services available.

Scholarships

Students from Soochow are eligible for a dedicated scholarship, which may be combined with other scholarship awards made by Exeter. Please enquire directly to HASS@exeter.ac.uk for eligibility criteria, conditions and maximum award values.
